QUESTION FOR YALL, Help?!!

If we rewrite a paper, do we only have to submit a hard copy of our new paper tomorrow in class?? or how should we turn it in?

HDFS

I had my HDFS final this morning. It was optional but my grade was borderline so I studied really hard to hopefully bring my grade up.  I spent the night in the library last night, studied all night, watched the sunrise, and then walked from the library to Chick fil A for breakfast then to my final! And it paid off because I felt like I did really well! So glad I only have two left tomorrow and I'm done!

My mom helped me move a few things out this morning.  She works in the Auburn/Opelika area once every other week so she stopped by and took a lot of my stuff home. That was super helpful but now my dorm room feels funny being so empty!

I don't have another final until Thursday and I'm sad because I wish I was at the beach still. The only reason we came home was because of my exam yesterday. If I didnt have it I would have been able to stay and study ON the beach. That would have been amazeballs.

Animal Science exam

That exam was so hard.  I knew my material from the entire semester but there was new material since our last test on our final and that threw me off. The new material was extremely hard but the old material was easy peasy. Hope I did okay.

Had the best day yesterday. We stayed on the beach all day long then went to eat at Captain Andersons which was great. I dont like seafood but it was still good.  I'm sad that I'm back in Auburn because now it's time for serious studying for my 8am exam...

Beach!

I'm so happy I'm at the beach. It is absolutely the best way to spend my weekend before finals: relaxing.  It is 80 degrees and gorgeous. The water is a little rough but looks clear as ever I'm ready  to go down there!

I LOVE HAVING NO CLASS! I don't remember having these nice dead days last semester, maybe they just slipped my mind. But I love it. Im going to the beach today! Can't wait!

Yesterday was a blast! Except that late last night friend of mine was sent to a hospital in Birmingham.  He was walking my best friends to the security shuttle (He's such a gentleman) and two guys yelled super inappropriate things to the girls so he told them no to talk to girls that way and they jumped him, knocked him out cold and he was sent to the hospital here with a broken nose, three torn ligaments, and internal bleeding so he was sent to Birmingham. Thankfully today he is doing okay and should recover fine! but everyone wish him well and say a little prayer for him and my two girl friends!!

LAST DAY OF CLASS YEHAW

I'm up studying for my Animal Science Lab final that is today at 3:00 this afternoon.  It seems like it would be easy but it is definitely not. Wish me luck on that one.  HOWEVER, it will be my last day of class, our "senior chapter" tonight, a concert, and two of my best friend's birthdays. After I take my lab final it is going to be a great day/night!

SLEEP

I fell asleep last night early at 11:30 or somewhere around there and slept so well. I didn't wake up until almost 11:15 this morning. So I got a great night's sleep for probably the first time this year.  However, I have a cold and the medicine I took makes me drowsy so I'm about to take another nap..probably not making it to my Biology class at 2, I don't feel well. Night, night!

test today

Actually got a lot done in class today on our wiki. I just finished my Current Issues in Human Development and Family Studies test.  It covered all the materials we talked about on domestic violence, child abuse, divorce and it's effect on children, and remarrying.  It was kind of interesting and I enjoyed it so I hope I did good on my test. Now I'm done for the day!

Sundayyy

No matter how tired I am on Sundays, I always go to Auburn United Methodist United Church at 11:00. It's a great way to start out my week.  After church it is time for a good lunch, at a different restaurant every week. I should be starting my homework this afternoon but I'd rather procrastinate and take a nap.

Today is a big day.  It is Friday, that's exciting. But it is also 4/20 National Weed Day, my best friend's birthday, and my parent's anniversary.  So thats a good day.  And tonight starts a fun weekend.  I might go turkey hunting, never done that it could be fun, or Ill stay here and go out.  Ready for some friends to come into town today for Sigma Nu's woodstock this weekend!

Thursday

Finally Thursdayyyyy. I have been waiting for today because I'm going to my sister's soccer game (haven't been to one and she was mad) and then coming back to Auburn for a Rave tonight at Sky bar.  So I've been so excited for today but it didnt start out great because I missed my Biology makeup exam at 7 this morning.. oops.  Now I'll retake it after class and then to the gump for soccer then Sky bar tonight. lets go.

busy

Wednesdays are always my busiest days. I have class from 8-1 and 3-5.  My 11:00 class is a Biology Lab and today is our final.  I didn't have much time to study before it so I hope I did well.  I didn't feel like it went too terrible.  I'm glad its over with and I have a break until 3 now. Then chapter. lets go.

Doctor Doctor

I went home last night for a doctor's appointment early this morning.  I live in Montgomery so it is no big deal at all to make a quick trip home.  I haven't been home except once this semester so it was nice.  My doctor's appointment did not go that well, and took forever.  I had a bad reaction to the shots and it was terrible.  Because of the reaction I passed out, then was sick for the day and missed my Biology test. This wasn't a big deal because I have more time to study now and hopefully it won't be hard.

WIKI WIKI

Ready to work on our wiki! We finally figured out how we want to set it up, and made somewhat of an outline. We work in class on it, and divided up what we all want to write about and so thats great.  I like this assignment and like working in groups it makes it so much easier to figure things out.  Now, ready to work. wahoo.

Sunday

Always have to start off Sunday's at Auburn United Methodist Church.  The pastor there is my home church's pastor's brother.  They sound just alike and it's familiar.  After church I had a Rush workshop that I dreaded because it was supposed to last 4 hours but we got out 2 hours early. yay

Yehaw

Tomorrow is Rodeo, the weekend we've been waiting for.  It's also one of my friend's birthday. It should be a really fun day, I can't wait.  I need to find something to wear but it shouldn't be a big deal. I'm just excited to be going and hear Eric Church.

Monday, Funday

Mondays are always tough to start out.  Today I woke up a little earlier than normal for some reason, so I had plenty of time to lie around before getting up. That was a nice start to my day.  My group's homework for the weekend was to read over our chapter in Rose, Chapter 3, and take notes and stuff so that is what I did this weekend.  That, along with answer the discussion questions.  I thought there could only be 3 posts per group's questions but that was impossible because there were only a few groups that posted questions and all of them had three answers before I got on Saturday.  Hopefully they'll still count.  So I did my homework this weekend, had wonderful time with my family, and got up early this morning; I'm ready for a good week.

I finally had my conference about the paper yesterday. This one was by far the most helpful.  I was a little worried about whether or not my topic would be strong enough, now I think it will be fine. I have to change a few things and be more focused but it will be fine.  Yesterday's conference really helped.  Im glad I made it, I almost missed because I got all the way to Haley and realized I left my paper in another notebook. Thankfully I found it and made it to the meeting.  Got that done with, took my huge Biology test today (a little homework for that tonight), and just have to read Rose and my schoolwork for the week is done! I can't wait for this week to be over. I had to miss Old South casino night to study for my Biology and work on other homework... not too much fun. But the week is almost over and this weekend will be great! Got to get to work on that paper.

Uh Ohhh

So this semester has been incredibly busy.  And it has flown by just like everyone said it would.  We have barely 6 weeks left and I have not blogged very much at all. Not only have I just plain forgotten to blog every day, I forgot my password and had to reset it a few times to be able to get on. Finally it worked! I have a lot of catching up to do now..  I wish I could post a couple a day just so that I could catch back up with events and thoughts. Butttt that won't count so no use.  Spring break was amazing and I'm still having withdrawels.  I had an okay week last week, a nice transition back into the swing of things.  This week is going to be a tad stressful because I have so much to do.  My paper needs a lot of work and unfortunately I couldn't come to class for peer reviews Monday.  I have my conference tomorrow though so that will be helpful.

forgot my book

Im in my 8:00, just sat down and was getting stuff out of my bookbag when I realized I don't have my English book. Hopefully she wont ask in depth questions or do a book check today. yikes

interview questions

I had to actually start picking my issue today so that I could come up with some questions.  I think I'll write about Horse meat in the US. It's illegal here but not other places because they're companion animals and so on.  Soo I had to come up with questions about that.  I'll have to think a little more on those but at least the whole class came up with some good background questions for the people I interview.

I should have posted at 5:00 today to continue with my numbers and stuff. Yesterday was all threes but today could have been 3-4 at 5:00. kinda neat, not really.

THREES

I waited to post this at 3:33 because someone pointed out to me yesterday that today is 3-3. Third month, third day. Little things like that are cool so I thought I'd make it cooler and wait until more 3s to talk about it.

standards teaching learning

I actually read the Rose chapter for today. So discussion was great! I love when I don't have to cram it in right before class because I am able to soak in more and discuss more. Successful day of learning.

people to interview

THinking about my homework. For my issue I'm writing about something with animals because my major is Pre-vet.  So I need to think of what people I know in those areas. Maybe my hometown vet or one of my ANSC professors. I have some friends willing to be dummies to interview too.

Extraordinary

WHOAAAA It's the start of an extra day. Thats exciting. It will be a busy day for me as usual but it is still an extra day, maybe I'll get something good accomplished on this extra day.

great day

Today is a great day. I like the weather outside. I dont have a midterm in Biology, or other classes. I wish I could take a nap but I have my workout class at 4 so that's a negative. But hey, it's a great day.

Just got into my 10:00 after taking the midterm. It wasnt that bad! It was actually neat, I haven't taken one of that format before so that was cool. Hope I did okay.

Tomorrow we turn in our papers and have a midterm. I'm kind of nervous about an English midterm because I dont know what to expect.  My paper is pretty much done, my free writes are in my notebook so I just have to show up and do well on whatever the midterm is! Hope I do.

Conferences

Just got done with class for this week! It was nice not having a 9:00 today but I have an 8 and a 10.  It's always hard to get up for the 8:00 knowing my 9 is canceled. On that note, I skipped my 8:00 this morning and had a wonderful time sleeping in then went to breakfast before my 10. Now I'm done! I love that we schedule conferences and cancel class. They're helpful and it's a nice break.

Nightowl

Had a long day like I said, but at least now I don't have class unitl two tomorrow! I love knowing I dont have to get up early.  I wish I could go to sleep and actually get a good night's rest but I can't make myself. I'm a nightowl as my mother would say. I will probably wait until tomorrow night to do any homework we have.

I don't like wednesdays very much. They're so busy for me. I have so much class and my Biology lab always takes forever so I just got out of it and have a tiny little break before I'm back scrambling around again. Have another lab at three, going to get lunch first I'm ravenous.

The only class I have on tuesdays is Biology at 2.  I always want to wake up at a good time and get a lot done before class and it never works out, I sleep in too much.  So I got up about an hour ago and now I'm killing time working on homework before I go to class.

Turned in my peer review today! Everything is going great in class right now, getting some good feedback I hope. Lucky I managed to sneak this blog in. wahoo. One more class and I'm done for the day. Mondays aren't that terrible.

Had a blast all last week and this weekend, now its time to get back in the grind of things.  Woking on my peer review as we speak, this blog is my little homework break. Ready to turn in this paper and be done with it!

country club

Last night at Country Club was a blast, the band was awesome.  I'm about to go to the house again for a day party and who knows what tonight. Hopefully it will stop raining.  I'll do my homework tomorrow.

Fridays always seem to come so fast.  My week this went flew because I was so busy.  Tonight I'm going to Sigma Nu's "Country Club."  It's their spring semi-formal and I can't wait! Should be really fun.

Wednesdays are always busy. I have class from 8:00am to 1:00pm then again from 3:00-5:00 and then chapter at 5:15. I'm lucky I have a lunch break 1-3!!

Valentimes

When I think of Valentine's day I think of chocolate of course, but I always think of Junie B. Jones books.  There was a book about "Valentimes Day" and it was so cute.  Everyone should read that today.

I'm glad that I was early to class today. 8 am's are always so hard to get up for because I'm a night owl.  After this class I'm going to English, then Human Development and Family Studies. After those two I'm done for the day.  Mondays aren't terrible because I'm done so early.

Thursdays are awesome. I only have one class at 2:00 in the afternoon and I love sleeping in.  So that's great.  Tonight I had zero plans except for some homework but it's no biggie.  I'm about to read my Rose chapter for tomorrow and SLEEP. night.

I'm LaceyRae Sport, from Montgomery, Alabama. I almost went to University of Alabama but I changed my mind Christmas of senior year. I'm SO GLAD that I did.  I'm a Pre-Vet/Animal Sciences major, but I may minor in zoology.  I have two dogs, a cat, and two ducks at home that I adore.  I've kept my dogs in my dorm for a day or two because I miss them. 
I want to work with animals one day, and I would love to do that in a different country.  I plan to study abroad a semester or so and would love to eventually live somewhere overseas.  I have a ton of things on my bucketlist and plan on doing them all, living abroad included.
